the body’s natural system of healing

homeopathy_icon_blue.png  What is Homeopathy?

Homeopathy is a system of medicine which involves treating the individual with highly-diluted substances with the aim of triggering the body’s natural system of healing. Based on their individual symptoms, a homeopath will match the most appropriate medicine to each patient.

Holistic approach to treating the individual

Homeopathic medicine treats the whole person rather than the specific disease. The homeopath will take an in-depth case history exploring ALL your symptoms — physical, mental and emotional — in order to find the specific remedy that best matches you. All aspects of your health, including diet, lifestyle, your medical history and that of your parents and other close family will be considered, as will any medications, other treatments or therapies you are using. Consequently two patients suffering from the same disease are likely to be given different remedies depending on the rest of their symptom picture.

What to expect?

The initial consultation will last at least an hour with follow-up appointments taking approximately half an hour. Homeopathic remedies are non-toxic and can safely be used for babies and children and during pregnancy.

Homeopathy can be very effective in alleviating emotional, mental and physical symptoms including the side effects of conventional medicine. It is especially effective in chronic illnesses particularly where the patient has "not been well since...". It is a very gentle system of healing with no side effects.
